Hiking the Hog Heaven Trail affords excellent views of rock formations and wildlife. The trail is moderate in difficulty and has areas where the trail is next to a drop off. If the loop is hiked in a clockwise direction the trails taken from the Broken Arrow Parking Lot are:
1. Broken Arrow Trail - 0.2 miles & Twin Buttes Trail - 0.7 miles
2. Hog Heaven Trail - 0.9 miles
3. Hog Wash Trail - 0.6 miles
4. Hog Wash Trail - 0.7 miles

Note:  If you are a dirt bike rider the Hog Heaven Trail must be taken from the direction of East to West.   
  

West trailhead of Hog Heaven Trail with its junction with Hog Wash Trail. You will want to take the trail to the right or North.

Heading North. The rockface in the distance has several raptor nests.

Trail turns South, Airport Mesa is in the distance.

The trail is heading South, not the switch back tral heading North in the right hand portion of the picture.

For trail switch backs can be seen.
