View to the North from Twin Buttes Trail

Hiking the Hog Heaven Trail affords excellent views of rock formations and
wildlife. The trail is moderate in difficulty and has areas where the trail
is next to a drop off. If the loop is hiked in a clockwise direction the
trails taken from the Broken Arrow Parking Lot are:
1. Broken Arrow Trail - 0.2 miles
& Twin Buttes Trail
- 0.7 miles
2. Hog Heaven Trail - 0.9 miles
3. Hog Wash Trail - 0.6 miles
4.
Hog Wash Trail - 0.7 miles
Note:
If you are a dirt
bike rider the Hog Heaven Trail must be taken from the direction of East
to West.

Final Leg of Trail Loop - Hog Wash Trail |
Junction of Hog Wash Trail with Peccary Trail. You want to go straight on the Hog Wash
trail which will take you back to the Broken Arrow Trail. From
there you hike the Broken Arrow Trail (0.2 miles) back to the
Broken Arrow Parking Lot. |
